“SALAS members participated in the Laboratory Animal Technician Week Celebration at different key research institutes. With the celebration theme “Technicians are the Gears that Move the Research Forward”, SALAS committee and officers spent the whole week visiting the technicians at NUS CM, NTU LKC, Phillip Morris Research Lab, In Vivos, BRC and SEMC/NLARF to present the plaque of appreciation and bring simple tokens of appreciation for the animal care team. SALAS thanked the management of the said institutions for supporting the activity and showing initiative in recognizing and planning more of such activities to the unsung heroes of laboratory animals – the technicians.”
